I’m not typically a skirt kind of girl, but this fall/winter season I decided to branch out. Now I’m pretty much hooked. I have fallen in love with the skirts I’ve purchased over the past few months and wanted to share one of my favorites with y’all.
You might remember seeing this skirt on my Thanksgiving day post on Instagram! I paired it with a fun and flirty black top from a Houston boutique called Hello Harper. Although the skirt probably isn’t short enough to pair with over the knee boots, I made it work! Later in the day when all of the cooking started, I had to change into a more approriate top. I have yet to master sautéing and baking with huge bell sleeves…but I have hope.
When trading in the gorgeous top for a simple black turtleneck, I was still obsessed with my outfit. Although I kept the same color scheme, I still loved how easy it was to mix up my style with this skirt. Since y’all have seen my festive formal style with this skirt, in today’s post I’m sharing the casual look.
I wandered into Free People and fell head over heels for this skirt. The camel color was too gorgeous to pass up. It’s also such a reasonable price! The turtleneck is from Nordstrom and my cut out booties are from Tobi. I purchased this Barbour jacket in Savannah Georgia last year- at such a good price I might add. Went into a shop for my boyfriend and ended up buying something and he didn’t! (I have a shopping gift, I can find something anywhere!)
I love this preppy cute look and think this skirt is perfect for styling this season! Pair it with tights and a chunky knit, or keep it simple like I did in this ootd.
Love your booties! They look good on you 😉
Thanks girl!!
