The Basics // Those days when nothing looks cute on or you feel like you have no clothes, having a simple t-shirt dress, jean jacket or top, and your favorite handbag is all you need! My boyfriend and I were going to the zoo (embarrassing how I’m explaining the struggle of picking out an outfit for this occasion) and after trying on 25 things, I decided to stick with the basics. Jeans and a white tee, or if in Texas a black simple dress and jean jackets always look cute. Adding a statement bag or wild sunnies helps give it that fashionista touch.
Sunnies // Felt like such a Bachelorette/Bachelor contestant when DIFF reached out to work together, but I was super intrigued to try the brand! In my opinion, it is definitely worth the hype. They are sturdy glasses and come in such fun styles. If you’re into RayBan but aren’t into spending the money this would be a great option for you. It’s great quality and super cute!
Kylie Jenner Lip Kit // If you never hopped on this bandwagon and experienced the STRESS of trying to order a lip kit before they all sold, you might not know it’s actually worth it. I won’t lie to y’all, I love watching the Kardashians so I already knew I would be trying out these lip products. The formula, colors, and even the smell is amazing. I have three right now and will definitely add to my collection! I stopped using them and recently fell back in love.
Sephora Foundation Brush // If y’all watch my Instagram story hauls, you might remember when I found a brush set in the sale section online. I tried out one of the brushes for my foundation and became obsessed. It’s sometimes easier/less messy to use a brush instead of a sponge so I’ve been loving it this month. The style brush I’m using is similar to the middle brush in the picture.
Podcasts // Instead of jamming out to Christmas music on my longer commute home (in the holiday spirit REAL early this year, but idc) I’ve been listening to podcasts. My go to are How I Built This. If you haven’t heard of this, you’re welcome. You can hear about how brands were created and the story behind the entrepreneur. I’ve listened to Kate Spade, Spanx, Dry Bar, Ben & Jerry’s…literally all of them are amazing. If you don’t have a long commute, pop them on when you’re cooking!
Thanksgiving // This was my first year celebrating Thanksgiving without my family. It was so weird not being with everyone on a holiday, but it ended up being the most perfect and relaxing weekend. My boyfriend and I went all out from festive/cute place settings to a 14 pound turkey…but damn we did good. I was so proud of us and enjoyed the day cooking with him, constantly FaceTiming my family, and drinking all the wine.
Hope y’all all had a great Thanksgiving! I’m super thankful for YOU. <3
Great post! I’ve started loving listening to podcasts too x
Yes, I love them!!
