In order to keep you prepared and fashion ready for Fall, I thought I would share my Fall Essentials. Along with the changing of seasons, the change of trends occurs as well. Everyone has their own Fall favorites, below I’ve listed a few of mine that help get me through the season with style! From fashion to home decor, here’s what I consider essential for Fall.
Fashion + Beauty
A patterned scarf.
Adding a scarf is the perfect and easiest way to dress up your look! Although I haven’t brought out all of my blanket scarves yet due to the range of temperature we are getting in the south. I’ve been using my Aztec blanket scarf, which I bought in Ireland, on the colder fall days. Instead of styling it around my neck like I normally would, I’ve been wearing draped around me. Patterned scarves are perfect fall accessories to add to plain dresses or jeans and a top.
A cozy sweater.
This is a given, right? Right now I am loving my boohoo oversized sweater. I’m on the hunt for a sweater with pockets because not only is that style catching my eye, but it reminds me of something Lauren Conrad would wear.
The perfect pair of booties.
I’ve recently picked up two new pairs of booties from foi clothing. I am in love with my simple grey pair that feature a zipper on the side. They are neutral with the perfect amount of heel and go with everything! If you’re looking for just a simple black pair, my go-to booties are my black Steve Madden’s similar to these. They have been through a lot and are still in great shape!
A hat.
What is fall without a trendy hat?! I’m never been much of a hat girl. I mean I have two monogram and two vineyard vines baseball hats and could count on one hand the number of times I have worn then. But I think they are such a fun and trendy accessory. It would be perfect to throw on with a sweater to an outdoor event, or if you’re spending the day outside exploring.
Lipstick.
To go along with the fall season, I am loving a mauve neutral, or a dark red. One of my favorite things about the change in season is changing up my makeup routine! I am still loving my Velvet Teddy by MAC and Rouge Artist Intense by Make Up For Ever.
Blush.
Blush is my favorite thing! This season, I thought I would be crazy not to add more darker blush colors to my make-up collection. Sephora has an amazing selection, if you want to try a gold tinted blush or just stick to the pinks.
Decor + Treats
Pumpkins.
Thanks to Target, I purchased three mini burlap pumpkins as a center piece for my kitchen table. I picked up a solid, black chevron, and white polka dot. To get into the festivities of Halloween I also added a jar of candies!
Candles.
I’m currently switching from my gingerbread candle to a pumpkin spice scented candle. Finding the perfect candle to reflect the season makes my room and home ten times cozier.
Festive cupcakes.
I get in moods where I just want to bake. I genuinely don’t end up eating a third of what I make (maybe that’s not always true), but I love it! One thing that I think is essential for fall is to make a yummy festive desert! Since my boyfriend is a picky eater and doesn’t like pumpkin or gingerbread flavored foods, I stuck to classic flavored cupcakes but added festive sprinkles. It adds a nice holiday touch, makes your house smell amazing, and having sweets around at all times is a must for me!
Coffee/Hot Chocolate + Fuzzy Blankets.
In order to not sound too obvious or cliche, I thought I would add a fuzzy blanket to my warm drink idea. To take it to the next level, I plug in my twinkle lights around my bed frame, cuddle up in my Target faux fur blanket, and sip on my hot coca.
