The moment you’ve all been waiting for…my homemade salsa & guac recipe!
I feel like I’ve hyped this up so much, considering we’ve made it over 100 times since lockdown. It’s super simple, but such a great and healthyish snack or appetizer.
Here’s a few tips to make it perfect.
- When you taste test, if it’s not perfect, add more lime juice. That usually works for me.
2. Once you make the fresh guac & salsa, let them sit in the fridge for an hour or so. The longer they sit, the more they get all of the flavors going.
3. Use FRESH cilantro. Bonus point if you get it from your herb garden.
If you have any leftovers and you want another easy app, the salsa is great for brushetta! The possibilities are endless.
Enjoy with a fresh margarita or a cold Corona Light beer!
