I’ve been sharing my monthly favorites since I started blogging, but with all that came with 2020, providing y’all with my current favorites each month seemed impossible! I wasn’t shopping (too much), and have really been in quarantine the whole year. That being said, I do have some of my new *must have in stock* products, shows worth binging, and outfits worth repeating to share from the year.

FEATHER TOP // I’ve always loved a good statement top! I thought this strapless feather number would be perfect for the fourth of July. Although it was a backyard party, we went all out + had a great time. My Irish gang brought me American gift baskets and flowers too- how freaking sweet!
*top is sold out, but can be found at I Saw It First or Nasty Gal

JEANS + SLIDES // Love Island fans, this is from the PLT Molly Mae collection. I love a gal with a double name and great taste. You can never have enough dresses like this. The black + ruching combo is a closet must-have. I also would say every gal needs a pair of OTK boots! I’ve been wearing my more uncomfortable pair this year since we’re just around the house. Maybe I’ll finally break them in.

OTK BOOTS + LBD // Love Island fans, this is from the PLT Molly Mae collection. Love a gal with a double name and great taste. You can never have enough dresses like this. The black + ruching combo is a closet must have. I also would say every gal needs a pair of OTK boots! I’ve been wearing my more uncomfortable ones this year since we’re just around the house.

LEATHER SKIRT // Definitely something I’m going to invest in; my current is like $10. Another perk of at-home happy hours during the winter time in Ireland is you can wear skirts/dresses and not freeze walking outside, haha. I love pairing this skirt with chunky sweaters and heels!

SILK MASKS // Made in Kilkenny and 100% silk! Totally in love with these. And totally appropriate to have in my 2020 recap.

SUNNIES // I went out of my comfort zone and got this “cool girl” style and ended up being obsessed. They are by a sustainable Irish brand and one of the first companies I have work with over here! Use my discount code XOCB to check them out. Nothing but good things to say!

SHACKET // I mean, I feel like this is a no brainer. IDK how anyone can not like this trend. They are cute and an easy statement piece to style! I love this pink flannel pattern from Zara. As I’m linking this, I also see one on sale for 10 EUR!

LEATHER JACKET // My go-to on a night out! So I decided to buy a second one.

LBT + HOOPS // Little black tanks…the drama behind this one for me haha. I fell in love with the Free People tanks that are basically bra tanks, and had drama with my order. So I searched for dupes and found so many! I would recommend H&M or Zara for basics! I also bought a pack of gold hoops from Zara, which I am constantly wearing.

HAIRSPRAY // If I haven’t sold you on this yet, wyd?
MOISTURIZER // I’ve been using this for two years now! It lasts so long and is perfectttt.
CURLING IRON // Just proof that you don’t need to drop 200 (enter your currency here) on a curling iron. When I moved to Ireland, I didn’t want my nicer hair tools to get messed up by my sketchy converter, so I bought the cheapest one off of amazon. It holds my curls, works like a charm, and I have no complaints!
HAIR BRUSH // Kev’s Mama bought this for me last Christmas, and I love it! It comes with two brushes. One is great for brushing out your hair whenever, and the comb comes in CLUTCH when you want to brush out your curls but not lose the masterpiece you spent ten minutes styling. Game. Changer.
FACE MASK // I really try to make sure I do one face mask a week. This one I use a lot because I really trust Kiehl’s brand.

OTTO // uh duh. I got a puppy this year! For my 26th, my boo made my birthday one to remember. Ottie is my first dog and the first bodyguard I’ve ever had. I love him to pieces. Literally, the only way to make up for a quarantine birthday, good job Kev.

2020 DATING // Walks around town or discovering new hiking trails is the new night out. Kev and I have gone on so many walks this year – as I’m sure is relatable. I have to say I never complain about the views!

HOMEADE SALSA + GUAC // Ask anyone in this house how many times I’ve made salsa + guac this year. Nothing beats it! I’ll drop the recipe & drink pairing soon.

CAREER CHANGE // I made a total career change this year! I previously worked in HR for three years and took a Marketing/Social Media job when I moved to Ireland at the end of 2019. I was always always interested in the Marketing world and probably wouldn’t have taken this plunge if it weren’t for the 2020 drama.

GARDENING // My boo and I started gardening this year! Before the world went crazy. We grew lettuce, tomatoes, pumpkins, herbs, carrots, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, green beans, cauliflower, cabbage, potatoes…like we went hardcore. It was fun to do + eat. We are stocked and ready with seeds to continue this new hobby in 2021!
WEEKLY HABITS // Each week I write out five habits I want to focus on. A lot of them I repeat, like drinking enough water/working out, but I check off the habits each day and review how I did at the end of the week.
GLASS WATER BOTTLE + MASON JAR // Going off of the habits…drinking water out of cute glasses! This tremendously helps me drink more water. Weird, but whatever works, right?

SHOWS //
Desperate Housewives – If you haven’t binged, girl add it to the top of your list.
French Shows – I’m not talking Emily In Paris, although I obviously binged that, but actual French speaking chick flicks. It’s a simple way to spice up the ole Netflix routine and hopefully will help me with my French speaking. Oui, oui.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel – Finished this earlier in the year, but SO. DAMN. GOOD.
Schitt’s Creek – A classic!
Brooklyn Nine-Nine – Perfect show to watch with your boo. It’s hilarious! Love anything Andy Samberg.
MUSIC//
Morgan Wallen – Became totally obsessed with him this year! So many good, realllll Country songs.
Jack Johnson – My gardening go-to. Love his live concerts on YouTube!
Chase Rice – Lonely If You Are, Chris Lane – Big, Big Plans, I Should Probably Go to Bed – Dan + Shay, Harry Styles, Taylor Swift.

LONDON // Started strong! I went to London with two of my fave boys – my older brother, Chad and my fave Irish lad.

SLIGO, IRELAND // I feel like I’ve talked out our, basically one, trip this year so many time haha but it was a GOOD ONE. If you missed it, you can check out the recap here.
We did go on gorgeous walks around the country, explored when house hunting & picking up our puppy, went to the beach, and a few shopping trips in nearby county. I was expecting this section to be beefed up with all the European hot spots, but here’s to next year!
That wraps up my 2020 favorites! Finding the beauty (get it) in a crazy year. If you’re missing the travel like me, check out my 2019 recap post!
I’m sending you all a virtual hug and positive vibes for 2021! Although it has started out a bit rocky, let’s turn it around.
