I regretted not putting together a Spain blog post, so here it is! If you’re up to date on my blog, you know as soon as I landed in Dublin I switched terminals and headed for Spain! Therefore, my outfits are not as put together as I would have liked, but it’s not like it ruined my vacation.
We spent a week in southern Spain celebrating my future brother-in-law’s 30th birthday. We spent the vaycay going to zoo’s, drinking sangria, and eating yummy food. My man and his family grew up coming here during the summers and it was my first time visiting! I rounded up my outfits + a few fun things we did during the week.
DESTINATION: Torremolinos, Spain
what i wore // black tee, jeans, & white sneakers. The tee’s from this brand are my all time fave! They are so soft and comfortable. Packing a plain black tee was also a huge plus because I was able to pair it with different jackets to mix up my look.
where i wore it // Our first full day in Spain! We walked around the town, browsed shops on San Miguel Street, and I got my first round of sangria! The food here was so so good and each restaurant offered limoncello (or another shot of choice) after each meal.
*San Miguel Street is where a lot of the restaurants and shops are! This is where we stumbled upon a dance performance I shared in the video.
what i wore // grey sweater & gold hoops *I picked up this cashmere sweater at TJ’s (ballin’ on a budget), but linked a couple of similar options!
where i wore it // Bioparc Fuengirola and Caves of Nerja. AKA a day of adventures! Bioparc was one of the coolest zoo’s I have been to. They also have an exhibit where you can walk through the lemur exhibit. I was actually terrified haha. The caves were also really neat and probably the biggest I have been in.
what i wore // grey turtleneck sweater & fur jacket *I linked similar jackets from the same shop around the same price!
where i wore it// walk on the beach, Alhambra Palace, making homemade sangria. Our Airbnb was a skip away from the beach which was so LOVELY! Then we went to Alhambra Palace which was even lovelier. The gardens, the architecture, it was a really fun place to explore.
what i wore // teddy coat & gold hoops *I linked similar jackets from the same shop around the same price!
where i wore it // lunch date with my boo, shopping/exploring the town. This was one of our “off days”! We walked from the Airbnb into the town and did some exploring. Obvi- had to shop for lunch and couldn’t pass up another sangria.
what i wore // pink cropped sweater & gold hoops *I linked similar jackets from the same shop around the same price!
where i wore it // Selwo Aventura & dinner. Walked over a scary bridge (in the video you can see me mouth “i’m scared” haha), saw animals I have never seen before, and soaked up the sun! We went for dinner at Plaza Mayor which also had amazingggg shopping! I found the cutest top from a random store that I’m saving for something special. It’s also really close to the airport so a must if you are over there.
Hope next time we are in Spain I leave with a tan 😉
It was a great trip and fun way to kick start my life abroad.
