First of all, I can’t believe this is my second Summer Faves post! Second of all, I’m still in shock I hit 10k on Instagram this summer. Third, keep scrolling to see what some of my fashion, beauty, and overall summer faves were for 2016.

Maxi Dresses/Rompers
The tip to being a summer goddess: buy a maxi. The maxi trend was a favorite of mine last summer too, but who can resist? These maxi dresses and romper were worn throughout the summer from beach trips, hometown visits (I’ve been watching Bachelor too much), and in Washington, D.C.!
Dresses / Tops / Shorts
What kind of Southern Belle would I be if I didn’t feature a “little sundress”? This summer I’ve worn gorgeous new finds, and continued to wear out last years. I fell in love with tribal tanks, boho dresses, off the shoulder tops, and all of the bags in my closet (again).
Jean Top
Honestly, this top is a favorite during every season! This summer I paired this insanely comfortable Francesca’s top with just about everything. From maxi dresses, to tied around my waist to add to my look, I had to stop myself from grabbing it every morning!
Kate Spade Handbag
This was a gift from my Mother to help start my “Working Girl Wardrobe”, and that it has! I love the option of the long strap and the neutral color.

Soya Want It All 22 In 1 Leave In Treatment- After my $10 hair cut, I decided I needed to get back into using products to protect my hair to avoid getting it all chopped off. I use this product after I shower before I blow dry my hair. I love it and haven’t gone without it since I purchased it.
Benefit Eye Cream- Because when you’ve been wearing contacts since 3rd grade and pulling your eyes, an eye cream is necessary! I’m not saying I’ve seen great benefits from the product right away, but I’m looking at it as an investment.
Mac & Tarte Lipstick- My two summer shades were MAC cremesheen in the shade Modesty and the Tarte LipSurgence in the shade dreamy. One for work and one for play.
Stila Mascara- Talk about an underrated product! I believe I received a sample size of this fabulous mascara from my Birchbox. After using it one day, I knew I would need to purchase the full size. It gives your lashes a gorgeous amount of volume!
Eradikate- Holy Grail!! If you have spots please purchase this product. I instantly saw results. Worth every penny.
Brow Pen-You can’t go wrong with Benefit eyebrow products. This brow pen was my go-to on lazy makeup days.

Washington, D.C.- It had been forever since I have visited Washington so it was so nice to go back! Seeing all of the tourist spots was a great way to start the summer.
NYC- Oh, that city. It always has a piece of my heart and will forever be one of my favorite places to visit! Got my annual fix this summer and got to hang out with my big brother #winning
West Virginia- Blame it all on my roots. Went to visit my grandparents. Drank craft beer, played giant jenga and cornhole, explored downtown Lewisburg (google it). Sounds like a pretty awesome time to me! And I didn’t even mention the shopping that happened…
HHI- What kind of summer would it be if I didn’t try to get to the beach every chance I got?
Wedding- Attended a BEAUTIFUL wedding this summer and got to stand beside my beautiful Mama as she got married.
College Graduation- Turning my cant’s into cans & dreams into plans.

My new apartment- Loving my grown up apartment and bff roommate. Closet pictures coming soon… 🙂 You’ll see why it’s on my summer favorites!
My new job- Working isn’t so bad when you’re surrounded by fun people and work for the coolest company. #blessed
Girl Boss- Opened it up one day at the pool, couldn’t put it down. Give it a read if you need some inspiration or GAL POWER.
The Hills- My summer tradition has continued. What better way to relax during the summer than learning from the great, LC.
Yoga- My work offers fitness classes (you go glen co co) and I have been attending Yoga three days a week! Talk about starting your day off well. (Hopefully my attendance streak will continue when the cold mornings come)
Viva Chicken- New found love for this Peruvian Rotisserie restaurant in CLT. I love the atmosphere, juices, and menu. I feel like this place should be in LA, but I’m glad it’s here.
Homemade Chipotle Bowls- Basically a Sunday night tradition with my boyfriend. I could eat it every night if I could.
