Here are a few essentials to get you through the sunny days ahead.

Highwaisted shorts.
A dark denim pair of shorts are a summer must. The shorts pictured above are from American Eagle. They are extremely comfortable and easy to style.
I recently purchased a pair of Free People shorts off of shopbop.com They run pretty true to size and can be paired with anything from loose t-shirts, or fun printed kimonos.

1 & 2- A light weight foundation.
Experiment with a different BB (beauty balm) or CC (color correcting) cream this summer to provide your skin with a light weight formula while still giving you a good amount of coverage and skincare built in! I have tried a variety of brands from affordable drugstore to chic high end brands and would recommend the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB and Cover Girl BB Cream. The best part is that most of them have SPF in the formula! Protect your skin from that beautiful sunshine. I purchased both of these at Target and they are under $7.00!
3 & 4- Face scrub/mask.
With summer brings the heat. Your skin will most likely produce more oils and dirt due to the sweat your body produces. To fix that, try exfoliating and following your skincare routine with a face mask weekly. I have been loving my Peter Thomas Roth face mask and the Ole Henriksen polishing mask. Both products offer different benefits and work amazingly!
5- Highlighter.
Like every other make up fanatic, I lust over the Hourglass Highlighters. While waiting in the checkout line at Sephora, I found a travel size compact and liquid Hourglass Highlighter for $20! Adding a gorgeous highlight and shimmer to your summer beauty routine will make your skin beautifully luminescent, perfect day and night.

A Summer bag.
What better way to bring on summer than with a bright and fun statement bag? This Kate Spade was a graduation gift and came in perfect time! Rock your bright bag with an all black or white dress to give your outfit a pop of color.
A Versatile beach bag.
…Bring on summer!
Both those bags are adorable!
