Layers are a travel essential! Jet setting to California over spring break, a girl can never be too cautious with her wardrobe in a state that has so many different climates. To ensure comfort and style, I packed a few light weight layers that could easily be paired together. These essential pieces can be mixed and matched throughout your vacation to create different looks. My gorgeous J.Crew jacket is lightweight, neutral, and and a must have for everyone! It comes in other colors, but my choice was this mossy brown and have been able to wear it with many different outfits. Layer over a chic black dress for an updated classic look, or white skinnies for a laid back casual look!
The sweater was another versatile must have for me! I have paired this comfy chic sweater before with black leather leggings for an edgier look, but today I have paired with black skinny jeans, giving another easy, comfortable, casual look. This sweater is so comfortable and light weight! I also love that it shows off a little shoulder. It was great to pair with my J. Crew jacket after the sun went down as an extra stylish layer.
My accessories consist of my favorite, Kate Spade mini cross body. This bag perfectly fit my travel and everyday essentials (phone charger, lip products, sunnies, and snack). I have a versatile pair of sandals that went with every outfit during my trip! I loved that they had a sling back strap which held on tight during my hike through the Cali hills, or on a hunt for your favorite makeup or clothing stores.
The more you travel, the more you learn about what to pack! Leave some tips you’ve learned in the comments 🙂
