And just like that, I was off on another adventure a week after my spring break trip! I was lucky enough to spend the weekend with my family in New York City. Although I was sad to leave the warm South for the 50 degree weather, the exhilarating city make it all worth it.
As a soon to be college graduate (one month left), I am beginning to build my professional wardrobe. I recently got this white Banana Republic jacket and thought it would be great for my career style. In my opinion, this jacket mixes business with pleasure. Not only can you pull it off in most office settings, you can work it on the weekend too! It is thicker material, which was great for the wind and weather from the weekend. It is a crop style with bunched material in the back, a zipper in the front, and two pockets. Under the jacket, I am wearing a simple dark grey sweater. For accessories I have on a neon orange and white infinity scarf from J.crew and my new mini Michael Kors bag- that can fit your phone and lipstick. As for earrings, I have on simple silver hoops.
We spent the day shopping, stopped for lunch at Grimaldi’s, and walked around downtown Brooklyn. Many lattes were sipped, lots of pictures captured, and great memories with my family were made!
