Everything is bigger in Texas! Handbags. Houses. Margaritas.
One of my older brothers recently moved to Dallas following his college graduation. I hadn’t seen him in a few months, so I took the opportunity to visit him when my mom said she was planning to go. I wanted to see this new career boy in action. It was an amazing weekend, and although I didn’t run into Chandler Parsons, it was a big success.
From brunch to sightseeing to shopping, I wanted to share how to take over Dallas in a day. Starting with the most important thing…the outfit.

WEAR
Like most big cities, expect a lot of walking. My Toms wedges were ideal because they kept my feet happy and still dressed up my outfit more than boots would have. Not knowing what kind of day we would have, I wanted my outfit to be appropriate for a nice, big city occasion. I wore a loose garnet sweater and paired it with my favorite fur vest! To brighten up the look a bit, I added a pearl Kendra Scott necklace.
Sweater: Ya // Vest: Jack BB Dakota // Jeans: H&M // Shoes: Toms // Necklace: Kendra Scott

BRUNCH
I don’t think you can have a bad brunch if mimosas (or coffee) are involved. If you ever get the chance, please go to Bread Winners restaurant. It was amazing and the atmosphere was so fun. The waitress happened to be from Ireland which was cool since that’s where my boyfriend is from!

SHOP
It was great to have the chance to explore another wonderful city and spend time with the fam! I can’t wait to go back. Perusing through Highland Park and having my brother and his roommate take me to a bar that is basically a free arcade for adults, it was a trip filled with new and exciting experiences.
