September. Also known as Pumpkin Spice Latte and oversized sweater season! This month has flown by thanks to the help of my senior class schedule and my internship and the time has come to rearrange my wardrobe and bring back my chunky sweaters and cardigans. Want to know what I have been loving this month? Stay scrolling.
Clothing + Accessories
Sleveless Sweater– While running home for a quick day trip, I couldn’t help but stop in Nordstrom rack. I found this gorgeous
grey sweater and thought looked totally fashion forward and a piece that would be easy and fun to style! The fact that it is sleeveless is perfect for fall in the south where it ranges from freezing to “layout weather” throughout the day.
Michael Kors Rainbooties– After reading a blog post on fashionable rain boots, I thought that wouldn’t fit in my budget. However strolling through T.J. Maxx the most adorable Michael Kors rain boots (in my size) sparked my attention. I have worn them twice already and I just purchased them.
Kate Spade Cross Body- I purchased this bag last year and used it nonstop, then it ended up being pushed to the back of my bag collection. I’ve started using it again and remember how much I love it and how convenient it is! Not only is it black which works with any outfit, but it has a detachable strap, which makes throwing it in my school bag super easy! I can go from class to run errands and still have the strap to keep the comfort and connivence of a cross body.
Beauty
Lush Bubble Bar– If you saw my recent haul, you know I recently purchased this product. I don’t know if it’s the product by itself, or the fact that I had Sex and the City, a fall candle, and a glass of wine to add to the mix. The bubble bars are perfect and can last up to four baths- bargain!
Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade- This product has appeared in my favorites before but I thought it deserved another praise. I am still on my first container and I bought it five months ago. If you haven’t tried it, your brows will thank you.
Nyx Lipstick in the shade Chaos- If you are in search for the perfect fall burgundy at an affordable price, this lipstick is perfect for you! I think it is the perfect accent to a pretty fall sweater or paired perfectly with your favorite leather jacket.
L’Oreal Paris Shampoo– I have not used it too much yet, but the day after I did I was already noticing a difference in my hair! It made my hair feel very soft and it is easy to style the day after. Sometimes after trying out a new shampoo, my hair the next morning won’t style as well, but this product did not disappoint.
Random
Snappers Gourmet Chocolate & Carmel Treats- They may cost as much as my utilities bill, but its my third bag. They are amazing and for sure my new favorite!
Starbucks Salted Carmel Mocha Frappuccino- It is worth the calories and the perfect pick me up after my finance class.
Alias- Neflix probably makes everyones monthly favorites. If you remember this show from years ago like me, it brings back some memories! My boyfriend and I started watching it and since it is a show we can both agree on (for once) it defiantly deserves to be a part of my favorites.
Stay warm and stay happy! Any suggestions on products I should try out?! Xo, Catie Beth
