Welcome back friends! If you are following my social media accounts, then you know that I have an exciting trip coming up! My sweet boyfriend turns 22 in July, so with the help of my family, I am going to visit him in Ireland for a week to celebrate! I traveled to Ireland last December, so I learned the hard way how to handle international flights! If you have a trip coming up, or are interested in what I consider carry-on essentials, then keep scrolling.
MY BAG: Le Pliage Longchamp Large Tote. I would definitely recommend a large bag with pockets. This bag has one small pocket, so I am going to have multiple little bags inside it to organize my essentials.
THE BASICS:
Flying internationally, obviously the first thing you need is your Passport, plus some cash!
I always grab a water bottle before I get on the plane. Having a drink with me at all times is a must.
Jewelry- I always carry my jewelry with me. That way I know that it won’t get lost or stolen from my bag! That would flip me out!
MAKE UP/PAMPER:
*Tip- Don’t wear makeup on the plane…I am the kind of girl that wears makeup everywhere, even to the gym, but trust me from experience, your makeup won’t look quite as good after a 9 hour flight. Unless you want to take off your make up on the plane before you go to sleep and reapply, I would recommend just bringing make up to put on before you land!
Naked Urban Decay basics– Thanks Mom for letting me steal this…but not only is it the perfect small size, it has all of the basic colors to create a pretty neutral eye look.
YSL Powder– This will be for my everyday make up as well, but an essential to have with me on the plane.
Tarte Pressed Mineral Powder– Bronzer is favorite makeup product, obviously need to bring that. I love how small this packaging is and even though it is not specifically a bronzer, it works like a charm!
Maybelline Unstoppable Eyeliner– My everyday!
Mini MAKE UP FOR EVER Mascara– Perfect travel size and the applicator resembles my favorite mascara from Lorac PRO!
Benefit Instant Brow Pencil– Perfect travel size!
Mini TRESemme Dry Shampoo- Refresh your hair and give it that southern girl volume 😉
NITROGEN make-up remover cleansing towelettes- Cleansing your face will not only be a great refresher, its also great to get any excess dirt off before you apply your makeup.
Deodorant & mini perfume- I’m bringing my travel roll on Chloe perfume.
Mini toothbrush and toothpaste- Yes hunny, you’ll want it.
Chapstick.
OLEHENRIKSEN facial moisturizer– I have two mini samples with me! I will use one for the flight to Dublin, and the other one flying back home. Haven’t tried them before, but it says advance hydration so I was sold.
Body/hand lotion.
A few of my favorite make up brushes.
Fresh Scent all-purpose wipes- Whether I want to clean my tray or hands, I’m sure these will come in handy!
OTHER:
Trail Mix- I love the archer farms Monster trail mix from Target because it has chocolate…Plane time=snack time.
iTouch/iPod- To help save your phone battery.
A good book- I am bringing How To Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie, because there is never a bad time for a little business/life motivation.
Hand sanitizer.
Gum.
Neck Pillow and fuzzy socks- Stealing this tip from YouTuber, Zoella. Try to get as comfortable as you can, it will make the flight a lot easier.
Let me know what YOUR travel necessities are or if you think I missed anything. I also plan on posting more in the Here, There, and Everywhere category including other travel tips, so let me know what you want to see! Stay foxy! Xo, Catie Beth

Aw awesome! 🙂 Hope you have a safe trip!!
Just started reading your blog! I’ll be on a long flight for the first time, and I wouldn’t have thought to wait and put my makeup on before I land. Thank you for saving my face (and time) before I found out the hard way!
The all-purpose wipes are also a smart idea!
