Hopping on the Bandwagon

To semi-quote a famous author, when it comes to fashion, I have always chosen “the road less traveled”.  But…sometimes a girl just can’t resist! Even back in high school, I was always the last person to get “the next new thing”.  Not because my parents said no but because I didn’t see the big deal or couldn’t understand why everyone was dying over a particular item.  Months later, when the hype died down, I would start to get more interested.  Guess that’s just the hipster in me!

Recently, I hopped on the bandwagon and received my first pair of Kendra Scott earrings for Valentine’s Day. Being the preppy girl that I am, I was surprised that I wasn’t really into this style at first and didn’t really see the big deal. However, after putting on my bright turquoise earrings, my switch flipped. I am in love!  Not only are the color options what any girl could want, but the style is so simple and classy.  Let’s be honest, she posted an Audrey Hepburn quote on her blog page, how could she not have good taste?

I received the Danielle Gold Earrings in turquoise because I am a turquoise lover! I love pairing turquoise jewelry with black, hot pink, or white outfits because I love the bright look that it gives! I see the color as a neutral and think that it can go with almost anything!  These earrings can be causal or can also easily be the finishing touch to a more formal outfit as well.

Though it was a struggle to decide between the beautiful hot pink and white pearl color choices, I think you can never go wrong with turquoise! I have already worn the beautiful pair twice, and can tell that I am going to get my (mother’s) money’s worth out of them!

What are your thoughts on the Kendra Scott brand? Tell me! Xo, Catie Beth
